Attorney Bios

As a former Assistant District Attorney and DUI prosecutor, Ms. Porter knows how the criminal system works and what an impact a conviction can have on the lives of those being prosecuted and their families.

Since becoming an attorney in 1999, she has become very knowledgeable in DUI law, traffic laws, and criminal procedure.  As an Assistant District Attorney for Oklahoma County for almost two years, she personally prosecuted almost 1,000 DUI cases in addition to other criminal and motion hearings successfully. She has been commended by judges, opposing counsel, and others for her work in the courtroom.

Since leaving the DA's office, Ms. Porter, has defended those who have been charged with DUI, other criminal charges, violations of probation, and has assisted individuals with expunging their records.  Ms. Porter received her JD from Oklahoma City University School of Law in May of 1999.  In Law School she graduated in the top 25% of her class and was awarded the McAfee & Taft Outstanding Trial Court Advocate Award, the Order of Barristers' Membership for Excellence in Trial Advocacy Competition Award, and was named among the Who's Who Among American Law Students.
